Our rental cars are covered by the following insurance:
Bodily injury compensation
Unlimited (including 30 million yen compulsory automobile liability insurance)
Property damage compensation
Unlimited (Deductible amount: 50,000 yen)
Personal Injury
30 million yen per person
Vehicle Compensation
Actual cost claim (deductible amount 100,000 yen)
Other compensation

In case of an accident or vehicle trouble (e.g., engine issues, flat tires), this coverage includes transportation of the vehicle to our designated repair shop.
Note: This coverage applies only to the vehicle. Passenger transportation costs are not covered and must be paid by the customer.
Cases Not Covered by Insurance
The following cases are not covered by the insurance plan, and all costs must be paid by the customer:
Failure to report the accident to the police (no accident report)
Accidents caused by someone other than the registered driver
Accidents due to unlicensed driving or drunk driving
Accidents occurring after unauthorized extension of the rental period
Accidents not reported to us before returning the vehicle
Accidents caused by improper use or negligence by the customer
Making a private settlement without our approval
Accidents that fall under insurance policy exclusions
Second and subsequent accidents during the same rental period
Accidents caused by violating laws, rental agreements, safety instructions, or operational guidelines
Additional Costs Not Covered by Insurance
The following costs must be paid by the renter:
Flat tires (No refunds if the vehicle becomes unusable during the rental period)
Non-Operation Charge (NOC)
Drivable: ¥150,000
Not drivable: ¥200,000
If the vehicle is damaged, stolen, broken down, or contaminated due to reasons not attributable to our company, the customer must cover the repair, cleaning, and other damages. Additionally, the above fees will be charged as compensation for business loss, regardless of the extent of the damage or repairs.
Important: The Non-Operation Charge will also apply in the following cases:
Self-inflicted accidents (e.g., hit-and-run where the other party is unknown)
Damage caused by break-ins or theft

Disclaimer
Our rental vehicles are specially designed for "overnight stays in a vehicle." If a vehicle becomes unavailable due to damage, malfunction, necessary repairs, natural disasters, or other unforeseen circumstances on the day of rental, we will not be able to provide a replacement vehicle.
In such cases, we will issue a full refund of the reservation fee. However, we are not responsible for any additional costs, such as cancellation fees for campsites, hotels, ferries, or other reservations. No compensation beyond the reservation refund will be provided.
